I have never witnessed a wildfire this close before. The mountains where I've grown up, hiked, camped, lived, picked wildflowers in, gazed at the lights of the city from, this place that I love so dearly is burning! I am very saddened by this. Yes, it is part of life but it's sad to see. All I can say is that I'll pray for the folks who have already or are in danger of loosing their homes and ask that you pray too.
